The Baja Bush Pilots have advocated for general aviation south of the U.S. Border. Mexico and other Central American countries. Led by Jack McCormick, family and volunteers the BBP has a long history of victories keeping flying South of the US border affordable and general aviation friendly. 

Its not all work, the Baja Bush Pilots hold regular events historically from ten to sixty aircraft and are know as hosting "legendary adventures". 

Airports of Mexico - The Baja Bush Pilots also publish the publication Airports of Mexico, now in the 23rd Edition. Keeping airstrips open south of the border is equally important as north of the border. The BBP has a long history of sorting out and licensing airports in remote locations for resorts or private land owners. As recent as the summer of 2020 Jack McCormick, President of the BBP went down and led the effort to install mile of fencing and had the entire town support to comply with a runway in Norther Baja.
